Strake two

Big day. We had a pretty full house—some friends cam up from Phoenix to help and about half a dozen local friends showed up as well. We raged into planking the sides, which is one of the funnest parts of the job.

Late in the evening, after everyone else puttered off, I got my second wind and scarfed the next (and last) four strakes. They're cooking in the background while Edith grows ever boatier in the foreground.

The shop sure smells good. Anyone got a hamster in need?

Oh crap. It's 2 a.m. again. I gotta shut Brad down.
